Sinking of the Carl D. Bradley

The Carl D. Bradley sank twelve miles southwest of Gull Island on Lake Michigan on November 18, 1958 at 5:50 p m.

The Carl D. Bradley is the largest shipwreck on Lake Michigan. Thirty-three men were lost are sea and only two men survived.

The Beaver Island Historical Society produced a video of an interview with Frank Mays, one of the survivors of the Carl D. Bradley, at the Beaver Island Maritime Museum.
