Become a member!
We welcome your support! Whether you are a permanent or a part-time resident, a visitor or a tourist, a current or past member of the BIHS or a past member, or new to us entirely, you are important to us.

Together we all have an opportunity to share with others the unique history of this beautiful place. As you are aware, history is not simply artifacts and dates, but rather people: Native Americans, French Trappers and Traders, Irish Fisherman, Mormons, and those who followed. Their stories are the stories of Beaver Island. This is what makes us special.
With your help the Beaver Island Historical Society can and will share this uniqueness within our community and with the thousands of tourists who visit the Island every year. By joining us and becoming a member of the Beaver Island Historical Society, you can and will be a vital participant in this endeavor.
